Bountiful, Utah, - David M. Chamberlain, DDS, PC - Dentist - BYU Graduate
Meet Dr. Chamberlain
David M. Chamberlain, DDS, PC

The process of becoming a dentist was not a direct one. At BYU, I started out as a chemistry major with the intention of going on for an MBA. But along the way, a number of my study partners in different classes were pre-dental students. They convinced me to give dentistry a look. As I explored this option, I liked the ability of dentistry to provide a direct and meaningful service. I liked the idea of getting to know those who would come to my practice and of managing a business. Living the American dream of hard work and business ownership was very appealing to me.
After graduating from dental school in 1998, we moved back to Utah. I chose Bountiful as a place settle after much study, thought, and several interviews with dentists throughout the state. Dr. Ralph Larsen was a kind and gracious man who invited me to join his practice here in Bountiful. I was grateful for the opportunity. When Dr. Larsen retired in 2003, I purchased his business. I love being a dentist and enjoy studying and implementing better ways to provide dental care. Dentistry is a fun, exciting,
high-tech profession which allows me to interact with many people daily.
Monica and I have six children ranging in age from 13 years to one year old. As a family we enjoy camping,
swimming, cycling, college football, games, visiting family, skiing, and playing sports. We love Utah seasons
and terrain. We have found Bountiful to be a wonderful city with good people. We love the traditions, the school
system, the teachers, the Bountiful Rotary Club, other dental and medical professionals we interact with here, and
our patients. We also love being close to our families. My parents and brothers still live in Utah County . My wife's
parents live in Brigham City.
